On behalf of The BID Foundation, we’re now sharing a national survey, which has been created by Manchester Metropolitan University, on behalf of the Government's High Street Task Force and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. The findings of the survey will be shared directly with national Government to assist them in planning their support packages, so once again your participation would be greatly appreciated. The deadline to complete this one is tomorrow (22 April) – click below to have your say.

Government Updates

  • The Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, Robert Jenrick, has directly addressed the local Government workforce, thanking the 'unsung heroes' for their continuous dedication to keeping the country moving during this time. Here at the BID, we certainly echo that sentiment with regards to our colleagues at the Council, who we know are working tirelessly to support individuals and businesses. You can read the full letter here.

  • If you are unsure of what specific financial support may be available for your business then you can use the Government’s support finder tool to check which schemes you can apply for here.
